What is EFT Tapping)?
EFT (tapping) Therapy is also known as Emotional Freedom Technique. It involves tapping on a series of points on the body (also used in acupuncture) in order to release blocked energy and shift difficult emotions and physical symptoms perhaps caused by these emotions.
It is a gentle and non invasive technique which can bring about profound and effective change. It is also a technique which once learnt can be used in all manner of situations to bring relief from a range of emotional and physical issues.
It is also a powerful tool when used in Schools, for both staff and pupils. An excellent practice to promote Staff Wellbeing and a powerful tool to help children cope with the challenges of school life; from settling down to work quickly after break, to dealing with anxiety, lack of confidence, struggles with concentration and pre-exam nerves and anxiety. I am passionate about the positive effect that EFT can bring to the classroom and the power of teaching this technique to young people so that they have a tool they can use throughout their lives when facing difficult situations, and dealing with difficult emotions.
For this reason, as well as offering 1:1 EFT sessions I also do whole class or group EFT sessions and am happy to do Staff INSET/Training and staff Wellbeing sessions.
